Eat better for better health

Today, 25 May, 2001, one need only look around at fellow Americans, and citizens of those countries that mimic our "Standard American Diet" (SAD) to see lots of fat and even obese people. One only need read/listen minimally to the news to realize that medical instutions are strained to the "max"... and that many doctors/scientists do not have a CLUE why so many problems exist. Especially problems that did not exist a hundred years ago in such quantities, especially with regard to more and supposedly better medical doctors, facilities and drugs.

The answer, of course, is right under our noses!

COMMON MISCONCEPTIONS:
  • Aspartame (Equal/Nutrasweet) is safe
  • Aspartame (Equal/Nutrasweet) is an effective diet aid
  • Cow's milk and dairy are fit for human consumption
  • Cow's milk and dairy are NECESSARY for human health
  • MSG (monosodium Glutamate) is safe
  • animal flesh (or parts of animals) are needed for good health
  • animal fats are not only tasty but OK for good health
Were there any truth to mammals NEEDING to consume animal flesh to survive than all of the worlds vegetarian animals would have ceased to exist millions of years ago.

SUGGESTIONS:

  • Eliminate harmful food additives (aspartame, MSG, etc.)
  • Eliminate ALL milk and dairy (all non-human sources)
  • Eliminate all processed foods (little better than sawdust)
  • Eliminate all meats (all animal fats and protein)
  • Eat more FRESH fruits
  • Eat more FRESH vegetables
  • Eat partly versus fully cooked vegestables
  • Drink more clean water
  • Replace animal milk with soy, nut and/or rice milks
  • Replace animal protein with plant protein (works for cows, elephants, etc.)
You buy a $3.80 cent box of cereal (corn flakes). Guess how much of that price went for the cost of the CORN. The approximate cost for the corn in that box was less than five cents. That pattern holds true for most processed foods!
