Even soy can be damaging to your body when eaten in great abundance.
Vegetarians faced with the challenge of finding protein in other food sources are cautioned against too much daily intake of soy, because it’s found in so many vegetarian products. However, soy is a great nutritional source in smaller doses — unlike aspartame, which isn’t healthful at all. So what makes anyone think that, with the vast majority of our dietary products now containing aspartame, that aspartame can’t possibly be unsafe?

A new Duke University study that’s scheduled to be published in The Journal of Toxicology and Environmental Health found that Splenda actually contributes to obesity.
