The National Yogurt Association (NYA) has petitioned our FDA (Fatal Drugs Allowed) bureaucracy to ditch the requirement that chemicals added to food must be identified by name on the label. Trying to Lose Weight? Don’t Look to Splenda

We get quite a few emails asking about Splenda. While our focus is primarily on aspartame, we’re interested in answering your questions as best as we’re able. A new Duke University study that’s scheduled to be published in The Journal of Toxicology and Environmental Health found that Splenda actually contributes to obesity. It also destroys beneficial intestinal bacteria and it may just interfere with the absorption of prescription drugs.
Take a look at an advance copy of the Journal on its Web site.
