Aspartame (NutraSweet/Equal/Spoonful, E951, Canderel, etc) is a systemic neurotoxin so it could certainly kill bugs just like it kills humans. She told me they stopped using it because people complained of the smell.

It’s a chemical hypersensitization agent so combined with vaccinations like Anthrax they were giving the troops and other poisons it was particularly effective in disabling and killing.
